This partnership was for the Tselakgopo OVC and Gender Project in Botswana. BGBVC’s role was to address gender variables as they relate to HIV prevention, response and access to social services. BGBVC set out to raise awareness on gender based violence and HIV, and support communities to not only respond to gender based violence but also prevent it from occurring, and integrating HIV into its community intervention strategies.
